Favorite rooms from around the blogsphere

Hello friends,

Today, I thought I'd share some of my favorite house tours from around the blogsphere. For a few years now, I've been avidly following a number of great design, decor and diy blogs. They are what inspired me to finally start this blog.

First up, I love the Little House Blog. It's based in the Beaches area of Toronto where we live. This is super great because they have a lot of the same house challenges that we do. Recently, they re-did their kitchen and it turned out amazingly. See it here

Another Toronto blog that I read religiously is Rambling Renovators. Recently, they re-did their basement and it was inspiring to see how all the little details were perfected. See the fabulous craft zone here

6th Street Design School is a go-to source for young, fresh design ideas. Feature Fridays as found here are the best. Kirsten provides a tour of a different house each week and I must say I look forward to it.

Centsational Girl has the fabulous ikea hacks including the projects shown  here and here. The blog features a lot of pale blue color schemes and well thought out DIY projects. This blog is a must read especially the Best of the Blogsphere on Sundays.

Finally, I've recently started following Teal and Lime. One of my favorite color combinations! I was won over by Jackie's Midwest Summer Family Room and am impressed at how she has launched her custom design board business.

Believe it or not these are just some of the blogs I follow. I'll save the rest for another day.

Since this post has been rather heavy on words, I'll leave you with this amusing looking project:

This was brought to you by the good folks at check out all the details here.

Thanks for stopping by :)
