I had a fun night out with friends last weekend and thought I'd share the details. Hopefully, this is inspiring to folks out there looking for a new restaurant or activity to try in Toronto.
We ate at Rock Lobster and painted at Paint Lounge. It was a super fantastic evening.
First the restaurant. If you like fresh, yummy seafood this is the place for you. It's our second time dining here and I'd eat here every night if I could. The warm Maine Lobster roll is to die for.
Here are some pics
After devouring the lobster roll and downing a few drinks, we headed over to the Paint Lounge to try out our painting skills.
For those of you who follow the blog, you know I like to dabble in painting from time to time. I find it relaxing. I'm not super talented but it's fun to try things out and mostly I stick to the abstract and creative expressionism.
Thankfully, the good folks at Paint Lounge had the perfect painting for us to try. Abstract cherry blossoms. Pretty colors and low skill level required. Check, check.
While painting with my friends, I learned that I am a very speedy painter. Again not that awesome, but wow super fast. If you need a wall painted, I might be your women :)
Here are some pics from the painting extravaganza. See if you can tell which painting is mine ;)
I highly recommend this fun night of lobster and painting if you are looking to try this out for a girl's night.
I leave you today with this amusing item:
